A New Era

Datalink Electronics Ltd are well-regarded for investing in staff and technology to both improve the business, and provide a platform for top talent to flourish. This has been epitomised by the recent promotion of Mariam Smith to Managing Director. During her short time within the role, Datalink have seen some significant changes within the management team, the introduction of Michael Belcher as Design Manager and Aran Sharma as Business Development Manager respectively. This has brought a new dynamic to the business for design innovation, market expansion and growth. This new injection of personnel, coupled with the change in stewardship has seen Datalink set new sights in terms of growth and markets. There are also plans to update the website and increase exposure to the new customer base with use of strategic marketing techniques to be implemented by Q2 of 2023.

Datalink have also made significant investment in new technology with the installation of a new fully automated surface mount line with inline 3D AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) including good/no good buffers – this has revolutionised our production capabilities, by improving efficiencies, quality control and throughput.
